From a schoolyard with five stalls in 2015 to some thirty food businesses on Boulevard du Souverain: the story of Brussels Food Festival and what it stands for.
Brussels Food Festival began in May 2015, in partnership with the municipality of Auderghem.
The first edition ran for a single day, in a schoolyard, with only five food stalls.
Over the years the festival has grown while keeping its family, easy-going spirit. It now brings together around thirty carefully selected stalls and welcomes between 10,000 and 15,000 visitors across the weekend.
Brussels Food Festival is above all a place to meet, to discover and to share, where everyone can find their spot.
Our aim is to show that street food does not have to mean industrial fast food.
The stalls at the festival are chosen with care. We attach great importance to the quality of the produce, to cooking made on site, to original recipes and to the craft of the people behind them.
Visitors get to discover and taste the specialities of around thirty food businesses, in a warm, family setting open to everyone.
